In April 2005, Corriere della Sera launched an editorial initiative dedicated to the world of Disney. The series that is the subject of the initiative is called Topolino Story and intends to retrace 30 years of the famous comic strip Topolino, the timeless booklet-sized comic book that today accompanies so many young readers weekly (and in the past monthly).

The initiative therefore retraces the years from 1949 to 1978 of the magazine Topolino, selecting some of the most beautiful or most significant Disney stories of each year, clearly including stories of Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, Mickey Mouse and other similar characters, but trying not to neglect even minor and little-known stories and characters such as Brother Rabbit or Buci. Each volume is dedicated to a specific year, and the series proceeds in chronological order from 1949 to 1978 📅.
