The Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, current number two in the world ranking, is portrayed in paper form on the cover of Topolino 3572.
Jannik Sinner, for the occasion, spoke about his career and passion for comics. In a statement released by Panini Comics he said: «I love comics, I grew up with those published by Panini, and it is always exciting for me to read them… I still try to find the time to do it, between trips and matches». 🗨️📚✈️
Inside the issue there will be a comic featuring the paper version of Jannik Sinner, nicknamed for the occasion Quacknik Spinner . The story, entitled Uncle Scrooge and the unusual coach , is written by Roberto Gagnor and illustrated by Alessandro Perina (also author of the cover) with colors by Ilaria Castagna. The plot follows the adventures of Quacknik Spinner, a young tennis ace from Calisota hired by Scrooge McDuck to compete in the Duckburg Open, the first tournament of the Great Sbam. Scrooge's plans, however, will be thwarted by his usual enemy: Rockerduck. 🏆🦆
