Tex receives a letter from the other side of the world... The writer is an Argentine officer, Ricardo Mendoza, an old acquaintance of his and Montales, who asks for help and advice on a delicate mission: to penetrate the lands of the Patagonian Indians, negotiate the release of a group of prisoners and punish those responsible for a bloody raid. Knowing that Mendoza is a man of honor and that the expedition's ultimate goal is peace and coexistence with the Indians of the Pampas, Tex accepts. He and Kit will lead the gaucho and Indian scouts who accompany the military column. But things get complicated when a new general in chief takes command of the Argentine army. The directive now is no longer peace, but war, until the total extermination of the Patagonian Indians! Tex and Mendoza find themselves at a dramatic crossroads. What will their choices be?
