⚽️ The 2012–13 UEFA Champions League was the 58th edition (the 21st with the current format) of this tournament organized by UEFA. Bayern Munich won the trophy for the fifth time, beating Borussia Dortmund 2–1 in the first all-German final in the history of the competition. It was also the fourth time that two teams from the same nation faced each other in the final, after the previous ones in 2000 (two Spanish), 2003 (two Italian), 2008 (two English). 🇩🇪🏆
🏟️ The final was held at Wembley Stadium in London, two years after the 2010-11 final. As part of a process that began in the 2009-10 UEFA Europa League, two extra referees were used to stand next to the two goals in all matches of the competition, starting with the qualifying round. 🏟️🇬🇧
🥇 The winning team, Bayern Munich, also earned the right to participate in the 2013 UEFA Super Cup and the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup. 🏅🌍
