The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is born (And there's also the first Panini album!)

2025 marks a historic turning point for world football: the birth of the FIFA Club World Cup ™ , the first edition of a real Club World Cup with 32 participating teams , scheduled to take place in the United States for a whole month of top-level competition .

A revolutionary event that not only celebrates international football, but also gives life to a new Panini collection not to be missed !

🏆 What is the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup™ ?

For the first time, the best teams from the five continents compete in a format similar to that of the World Cup for National Teams:

• 32 clubs divided into 8 groups of 4 teams
• The top two teams in each group advance to the knockout stage
• It will be played in some of the most iconic stadiums in the United States, with a final that promises to make history.

There will be 32 clubs competing, divided as follows:

2. Real Madrid (Champions League winner 2021-22)
3. Manchester City (Champions League winner 2022-23)
4. Bayern Munich (UEFA ranking)

6. Inter (UEFA ranking)
7. Porto (UEFA ranking)
8. Benfica (UEFA ranking)
9. Dortmund
10. Juventus

(2 more places will be allocated based on 2024-25 results or UEFA ranking)

🇸🇦 AFC (Asia) – 4 places

1. Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia)
2. Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan)
3. Al-Ain (United Arab Emirates)
4. Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (South Korea)

🇲🇽 CONCACAF (North-Central America and Caribbean) – 4 places

1. Monterrey (Mexico)
2. Seattle Sounders (USA)
3. Club León (Mexico)
4. UANL Tigres (Mexico)

🇧🇷 CONMEBOL (South America) – 6 places

1. Palmeiras (Brazil)
2. Flamengo (Brazil)
3. Fluminense (Brazil)
4. River Plate (Argentina)

(2 more spots to be assigned based on Libertadores 2024 or CONMEBOL ranking)

🇪🇬 CAF (Africa) – 4 places

1. Al Ahly (Egypt)
2. Wydad Casablanca (Morocco)
3. Hope of Tunis (Tunisia)
4. Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa)

🇳🇿 OFC (Oceania) – 1 place

1. Auckland City (New Zealand)

🇺🇸 USA (Host Nation) – 1st place

1. TBA – A Major League Soccer club (to be determined)

The remaining 3 places will be assigned in the coming months, based on the 2024 continental tournaments or through invitations and ranking criteria.
