Il Primo Batman Era Biondo

The First Batman Was Blonde

Yes, that's right! The very first version of Batman was actually very different from the one we know today. In the original concept created by Bob Kane in 1939, the character was depicted with blond hair, a red costume and a stiff cape similar to wings, rather than the classic flowing black cape. He also wore a mask similar to that of Zorro , but less recognizable as the current one.

However, this design was quickly scrapped. Bill Finger , who co-created the character, suggested major changes: the costume needed to be darker and more menacing, resulting in the black and gray cape and full-face mask, while the blond hair was abandoned for a darker, more mysterious figure. Finger also helped establish the history of Bruce Wayne as a billionaire playboy with a tragic past, defining the mythology of the Dark Knight we know today.

This early version of Batman may seem like an anomaly today, but it's fascinating to think about how small changes, suggested at the right time, shaped one of the greatest heroes in comic book history. Who knows how audiences would have responded if Batman had remained blond and dressed in red?
