Esiste anche un Hulk Rosso ?

Is there also a Red Hulk?

Yes, there is a Red Hulk, the alter ego of Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross , a character who has gained popularity in both comics and movies. First introduced in Hulk (vol. 2) #1 in 2008 , he is an aggressive and calculating version of the classic green Hulk. Ross becomes the Red Hulk through the intervention of the evil Intelligencia, gaining incredible powers, including energy absorption and superhuman strength.

Unlike the Hulk, Red Hulk retains his intelligence, but with an out-of-control aggression. His first appearance in the comics sees him opposed to Bruce Banner, with whom he has always had a conflictual relationship, and his identity is revealed only after years of suspense. In issue 23 of the series, it is revealed that Ross has undergone the experiment that transformed him, showing his obsession to stop the Hulk even at the cost of becoming a monster himself.

Red Hulk is a fascinating character, because he represents a more strategic and controlled version of the fury that characterizes the Hulk. In the comics, his rivalry with the Hulk culminates in epic clashes, and he has managed to earn the favor of many fans for his ability to hold his own against Banner and his green incarnation.

Red Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

The character has returned to prominence thanks to the trailer for Captain America: Brave New World (2025 ), where he will be played by Harrison Ford. In the previous films, Thunderbolt Ross, played by William Hurt, appeared as a general determined to capture the Hulk. However, with the introduction of Red Hulk, the character is expected to play an even more central role in the MCU, giving new life to his tormented history and his desire for power.

Ross' transformation into Red Hulk represents not only a physical change, but also a major evolution in his journey from obsessed general to radioactive monster. This story, although born in the comics, is destined to leave its mark on the cinema as well, further enriching the Marvel Cinematic Universe with new and intriguing developments.
